Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

With this solid plot you are already assuming “This One” is going to be great but there is a plot twist here. So action crime thriller “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” is not a bad action spectacle. The charismatic hero, a little romance, travel and parenting issues and necessary detection unsurprising case and the central villain. Thus, the scenario is homely but Jack Reacher little bit. “This Mission” looks stupid and more or less organically, after all, the franchise has long been appealing to the sense of humor the audience in first movie but here nothing is new!

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

“An extremely effective sequence and brilliantly extends the spirit of the first game. Except then things go wrong soon enough.”

Tom Cruise’s acting is as usual. He does what he must do, but it is also not very interesting. Sometimes the acting a bit implausible about some fight scenes. The camera work, however, is excellent. Tight images and chases are filmed so that you are really in it. The fight scenes are perhaps predictable, but they are by the special effects really cool to look at and get some extra hard blows to. Sometimes action is alternated with the humor which is also necessary in order to keep you paying attention to the entire two hours. Still not a very special movie, but fine not think for a night on the bed. The only thing I would warn however for viewer is that the ‘series’ feeling – that I had in this second part – this franchise will likely hurt more rapidly and more than very good other franchise in which Tom Cruise was now seen five times “Mission Impossible”.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

“A thoroughly generic action thriller with no real highlights.”

“Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” is mediocre popcorn entertainment. It was an old story told in a new way, and that he fought on the spot. Nothing more, nothing less. The movie is not terrible, but on the other hand also excels nowhere. The story is simple, and that is mainly due to the very poor resolution. The ‘why’ is eye-turning and sighing level. The surprising double denouement where “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” bring closure makes you knock your eyes and then drop your head in your hands. Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders barely able to rise this movie above the average.

“Does the movie is useful? Is he brings something to the movies? Is revolutionize the genre? No, no and a big no.”

Bottom Line:

“Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” is mediocre sequel, deprived of everything that made the first part of this enjoyable.

In one word: “A disappointment”
